Wautoma High School Choir presents “The Addams Family” on Nov. 1-3

For the first time at Wautoma High School, the cartoon characters created by Charles Addams will come to life when the WHS Choir presents the musical comedy, “The Addams Family”, this November.

After Wednesday Addams invites her boyfriend, Lucas Beineke, and his parents over for dinner, her one request is for her entire family, including her parents, Gomez and Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandmama, Butler, Lurch, and brother, Pugsly, is for them to be “normal”.

In their second year working together, Directors Josh Barker and Ann Fajfer hope the audience will fall in love with the kooky family and their deceased ancestors as they attempt to be as “normal” as possible.

This year’s production features: Trenton Immonen (Gomez); Chloë Gulbronson (Morticia); Sarenna Sueoka (Wednesday); Evan Gruszka (Uncle Fester); Elijah McLain (Mal Beineke); Julia Kapp (Alice Beineke); Avery Mugerauer (Lucas Beineke); Travis Immonen (Pugsley); Renee Margalski (Grandmama); and Andrew Hernandez (Lurch); as well as the WHS Jazz Ensemble as the pit orchestra.

Tickets are on sale now at the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center.
