Auditions for Children’s Theatre Production of Pinocchio at McComb/Bruchs PAC June 16th


McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center in Wautoma will be presenting an opportunity for area youth ages 7-18 to participate in the Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre original musical production of “Pinocchio”, with script and original music by Robert Gribas and Angela Rinaldi Gribas. Auditions and rehearsals will be held the week of June 16 through 21, with performances on June 20th at 7:00 PM and June 21st at 1:00 PM.

Registration and auditions will be held Monday, June 16th , at 12:30 PM at the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center. Up to 75 youth are needed to play the roles of Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Cricket, Cat, the Spirits of the Forest, the Townsfolk, the Vermin, the Hooligans, and the Puppets.

Two professional actor/directors from the staff of Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre will direct the production and play the roles of the Puppet Master and the Fox.

There are no registration or participation fees for youth to be involved in the production. The show is sponsored by US Cellular and The Oberreich Foundation. The cast will rehearse Monday through Friday afternoons the week of June 16th. Pinocchio is a delightful retelling of the classic children’s story. Tickets for Pinocchio are available at the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center located at 514 S. Cambridge St., Wautoma. The box office will be open Wednesday through Friday, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm the week of the show and from 5:00 pm until show time on the 20th, and 11:00 AM until show time on the 21st of June.
