Hello Wautoma! Come “kick off [those] Sunday shoes” with Wautoma High School Choir’s production of “Footloose,” which is scheduled for October 31, November 1 and 2. Directed by Josh Barker, the musical follows Ren McCormack (Gregg Hammel) and his mother, Ethel (Haley Schmidt), move from Chicago to the sleepy town of Bomont, where they find the laws to be dated. With help from Rv. Shaw Moore’s (Jackson Borkowicz) daughter, Ariel (Dinah Schmidt), his new friend, Willard Hewitt (Evan Gruszka) and his fellow classmates, Ren attempts to reverse the no dancing law.
Be sure to come and support the dozens of talented teens who join in the cast singing and dancing to memorable songs such as Footloose, The Girl Gets Around, Somebody’s Eyes, Holding Out For A Hero, Let’s Hear It For The Boy and others. Tickets are only $7 for adults, $3 for students, and $1 for children. Show times are 7:00 pm on October 31 & November 1 and 2:00 pm on November 2.
Other upcoming shows at your PAC include Salute to Glen Campbell featuring Glen’s right hand man for 15-years, Jeff Dayton and his band, on Saturday November 9 at 7:00 pm. Silvercryst Supper Club dinner is available for purchase. Plans are also being completed for “Hometown Christmas” on Friday December 6, which includes local Waushara County musical artists. On Sunday November 24at 2:30 pm, the professional ballet company, Magnum Opus from Madison, will present their full length holiday ballet “Full Light.” This ballet presents fresh and innovative choreography to the glorious score of Handel’s Messiah!
