‘Tis the Season

Planning is in the final stages for “A Hometown Christmas”, our celebration of the season featuring local talent.  Over 120 performers will grace the stage on December 10th at 7:00 PM.  Get your tickets early for this holiday tradition that always sells out!  Watch this paper next week for an announcement of all of the entertainers who will be part of this “Big Occasion” in the final month of 2012. “A Hometown Christmas” is sponsored by Waushara Dental Associates, Creative Custom Embroidery, Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative, The Waushara Argus, and Brian & Patrick Getchius at Thrivent Financial.  This year’s celebration will feature a special Christmas Treats Reception after the show hosted by the Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce.

As you contemplate battling the crowds in search of truly special presents in the next few weeks, remember that PAC show tickets or gift certificates make a great gift for all ages.  Upcoming entertainers include the great Country/Gospel/Bluegrass sounds of Grammy nominees Dailey & Vincent in January, the rollicking Cajun fun of Mojo & The Bayou Gypsies in February, the incredible vocals of The Celtic Tenors in March, the Sounds of The Cinema by Presidio Brass in April, and the high octane fiddlefest that is Barrage in May.  Add a dinner package for a truly memorable evening out!

We are busy this week “decking the halls” of your PAC with holiday décor.  Mark your calendar to attend the wonderful seasonal concerts at our venue in December which will include:

  • Dec. 6 – Wautoma High School Winter Band Concert at 7:00 PM
  • Dec. 10 – A Hometown Christmas at 7:00 PM
  • Dec. 15 – Parkside Choirs Concert at 6:30 PM
  • Dec. 20 – Wautoma High School Winter Choir Concert at 7:00 PM

In this holiday season we give thanks to the thousands of patrons who call your PAC their home for great live entertainment, the over 50 volunteers who help us accomplish our mission, and the over 80 area businesses who support our efforts through advertising and show sponsorship.
