After Ren McCormack and his mother, Ethel, move to the sleepy town of Bomont, the Chicago-native finds the laws to be dated. With help from the Revered Shaw Moore’s daughter, Ariel, his new friend, Willard Hewitt, and his fellow classmates, Ren attempts to reverse the no dancing law.
Director Josh Barker along with Assistant Directors Missy Barker and Sarah Pietkauskis have been working diligently with the cast and crew in order to bring the lively show to the stage.
This year’s production features: Gregg Hammel (Ren McCormack); Jackson Borkowicz (Reverend Shaw Moore); Dinah Schmidt (Ariel Moore); Falyn Krempp (Vi Moore); Evan Gruszka (Willard Hewitt); Haley Schmidt (Ethel McCormack); Braeden Evert (Chuck Cranston); Nina Skweres (Rusty); Sarenna Sueoka (Urleen); and Sydnee Dehling (Wnedy Jo); as well as the WHS Jazz Ensemble as the pit orchestra.
