Putting the Finishing Touches on A Hometown Christmas

A Hometown Christmas
A Hometown Christmas

Planning is in the final stages for “A Hometown Christmas”, our celebration of the season featuring local talent.  Over 90 performers will grace the stage on December 13th at 7:00 PM.  Get your tickets early for this holiday tradition that always sells out!  “A Hometown Christmas” is sponsored by Waushara Dental Associates, Cooperative Care, U.S. Cellular, The Waushara Argus, and Brian & Patrick Getchius at Thrivent Financial.  This year’s celebration will feature a special Christmas Treats Reception after the show hosted by the Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce.

Performers for this year’s “Hometown Christmas” include Shara Sounds, Holden On Quartet, Hope Praise Team, Parkside 7th Grade Choir, Wautoma High School “Nothing But Treble” Ensemble, Natalie Galster, Just Cruisin’, Carmen Riebel, Zach Kubasta, Taylor Schmidt, Nick Surprise, Hope Lutheran Bell Choir, Santa & his Elves, and your host, John Hammond.

As you contemplate battling the crowds in search of truly special presents in the next few weeks, remember that PAC show tickets or gift certificates make a great gift for all ages.  Instead of something that ends up in a closet or cupboard, give the gift of an entertainment experience at the PAC which will live in their memory forever.  Upcoming entertainers include the great rock and doo-wop sounds of the The Diamond’s show “Bandstand Boogie”  February 7th, the world’s reigning male chorus “Chanticleer” February 22nd, “The Broadway Boys” in March, Emmy award winner Shaun Johnson’s “Big Band Experience” in April, and “Take Me Home”, the music of John Denver starring Jim Curry, in May.  Add a dinner package to many of these shows for a truly memorable evening out!

We have “decked the halls” of your PAC with holiday décor.  Mark your calendar to attend the other wonderful seasonal concerts at our venue in December which will include:

  • Dec. 15 –Wautoma HS Bands Holiday Concert at 7:00 PM
  • Dec. 17 – Parkside Bands Holiday Concert at 6:30 PM
  • Dec. 18 – Wautoma High Choirs Holiday Concert at 7:00 PM

In this holiday season we give thanks to the thousands of patrons who call your PAC their home for great live entertainment, the over 50 volunteers who help us accomplish our mission, and the over 90 area businesses who support our efforts through advertising and show sponsorship.
