Ladies Must Swing

The weather is warming up and so are things at your PAC. Area youth will be displaying their talent and poise at the Wautoma Queen Pageant on February 14th. Come and support their efforts. On February 28th the rollicking big band sounds of Ladies Must Swing come to town, sponsored by Cooperative Care, The Waushara Argus, Gary Christensen – State Farm Insurance, and McComb/Bruchs PAC Inc.

Capturing the essence of the nearly forgotten “Girl Bands” of World War II, the 18 women in the award winningLadies Must Swing bop their way through a roaring repertoire of 20th century dance classics. With musical and professional backgrounds as varied as the players themselves the ladies, ages 20-60, enliven wartime classics, celebrate the contributions of female composers and arrangers, and belt out a smokin’ foxtrot. Ladies Must Swing puts audiences In the Mood for a Sentimental Journey to Route 66, scatteringStardust and creating Mood Indigo because …. Swing they must! A Silvercryst dinner package is also available before the 7:00 PM show.
